These Shop Terms apply to all fixed-price purchases made through the Emerebid Auctions eCommerce Shop and form part of the overall Platform Terms & Conditions. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and any product-specific information displayed during checkout.

1. Definitions
  • Order – Your offer to purchase goods from the Shop.
  • Goods – Products listed for fixed-price sale.
  • Purchase Price – Product price plus VAT and delivery charges.
  • Consumer – As defined in the General Terms.
  • Cooling-Off Period – 30-day cancellation period for eligible consumers.
2. Placing an Order & Contract Formation
  • Product listings are invitations to purchase.
  • An Order becomes binding only after confirmation.
  • Orders may be refused for stock issues, pricing errors or fraud concerns.
  • Customers must be at least 18 years old.
3. Prices, Payment & Taxes
  • Prices are shown in GBP.
  • VAT is included unless stated otherwise.
  • Delivery charges are displayed during checkout.
  • Payment is required immediately.
4. Delivery
  • Typical dispatch within 1–5 working days.
  • Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
  • Risk transfers upon delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
5. Warranties & Product Condition
  • Goods will match descriptions provided.
  • Manufacturer warranties may apply.
  • Consumer rights remain fully protected.
6. Returns, Refunds & 30-Day Cooling-Off Policy

30-Day Consumer Returns

Eligible consumers may cancel and return goods within 30 days of receiving their order.

  • Notify us within the 30-day period.
  • Return items within 14 days after cancellation.
  • Goods must be unused and in resaleable condition.
  • Refunds issued within 14 days after return verification.

Exceptions

  • Personalised products.
  • Opened hygiene products.
  • Perishable goods.
  • Downloaded digital products.
  • Items permanently mixed with other goods.
7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods may be eligible for a refund, repair or replacement under applicable consumer protection legislation.

8. Liability

Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, negligence causing injury or any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Consumer Rights

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations remain unaffected.

10. General Provisions
  • Terms may be updated periodically.
  • Existing orders are not affected by later changes.
  • Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder.
  • Governed by English law.
